Courses in Norwegian and civic studies for adult immigrants - Autumn 2010
Bærum Municipality Adult Education Centre will start new courses for adult immigrants in August. Free classes if rules apply (if you qualify). A course fee must be paid by those to whom the rules do not apply....
DAYTIME COURSES
Norwegian course with basic computer training
The course is custom levelled to each participant with focus on basic language skills.
Course 1: 23. August -15.October, 5 days/week, 140 hrs. Course fee: NOK 6550.-
Course 2: 18. October - 21.December, 5 days/week 172 hrs. Course fee: NOK 7900.-
Course in Written Norwegian
Writing course for the participant that needs practice in written Norwegian.
Course: 23.August – 16.December, two times per week, 64 hrs. Course fee: NOK 3000.-
Norwegian course with internship and vocational competence
The courses combine Norwegian training, professional qualification, working environment knowledge, and computer training.
We offer four different courses:
- Kindergarden assistant
- Sales and Service
- Food and Service
- Transport and warehouse/storage
Course: 23.August – 21. December, 28 hrs/week the first 5 weeks, afterwards 18 hrs/week with schooling and 2 days with practical training (2 days on the job training). Course fee: NOK 12 500.-
HOW TO APPLY
It is binding registration to all daytime courses, by applying in person Tuesday the 10th or Wednesday the 11th of August from 10:00-14:00.
You have to bring the following documents:
- Passport or other documentations showing your type of residence permit
- TBC-card
